Celebrating the Best of Manchester's Young Talent
The Made in Manchester Awards, brought to you by future pro-manchester celebrates the best of Manchester’s young business talent, up to the age of 35.
2021 saw us host the awards virtually for the first time at the wonderful Vision Events Manchester Studio, streaming to some 500 people.
We're delighted to announce that the 2022 awards will be back, bigger and better than ever at The Kimpton Clocktower Hotel on Thursday 3rd February 2022.
A message from the Future pro-manchester chair
This year's chair is Laura Guillon, Senior Associate - Hall Brown
“MIMA 2022 is just around the corner. Whilst MIMA 2021 was incredible and a great success, I am very much looking forward to us being able to have the event in person this time. Over the past year, professional services have had to adapt once again and balance bringing people back into the office with some of the positives that have come from being able to work at home. MIMA 2022 will be an amazing opportunity to recognise the hard work and dedication of young professionals across the city in a year with different challenges to the one before.
I’m excited to introduce three new categories this year - Sustainability Champion, Diversity and Inclusivity Champion and Manchester Community Hero. I’m very much looking forward to seeing who our nominees and winners will be whilst supporting our chosen charity – Forever Manchester."

“Winning the Business Support Professional of the Year Award was a real surprise! It was an honour to be nominated, so to win still feels fantastic and something I am really proud of. The event was really well put together by the organisers, you can tell so much effort goes into it, and it felt really special to be a part of it.” - Natalie Griffiths, Business Support Manager & Head of Wellbeing - The Oakridge Centre
“Being named 'Apprentice of the Year' at the Made in Manchester Awards is an incredible feeling, the recognition of which really validated all the hard work I'd done during my apprenticeship. I'm so grateful to my colleagues for nominating me, and to pro-manchester for providing this opportunity that has set me up so well as I move forwards in my career.” - Georgia Carly, Marketing & Communications Executive - Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter
